CORONET BAY

Coronet Bay is a great location to live or have a quiet getaway. Ideal for those who want a romantic retreat, family getaway, safe beach or welcome break, all just a comfortable 80 minute drive from Melbourne's CBD.

Nestled along the coastal area between the towns of Grantville and San Remo (on the way to Phillip Island). It's a quiet area, with the Bass Coast's safest swimming beach due to the protection offered by the surrounding hills and the gentle slope of the shoreline. The beach is a very safe, dog friendly at one end and has a sandy swimming beach.

The township is made up of a combination of friendly locals and holiday makers. Coronet Bay is a quiet coastal village with a licensed general store, small boat ramp, 2 playgrounds one at the foreshore and one near the Community Centre, BBQ areas, basketball court, local bus, BMX track, beach front walking tracks and Community Centre. It is also renowned for its amazing sunsets across to French and Philip Island.

The nearby township of Corinella, just a 5 minute drive away, has a major boat ramp and Temby Point also just a 5 minute walk away has a secluded beach. The 5km walking track between Coronet Bay and Corinella has incredible views and is home to a large variety of native wildlife.

Coronet Bay is 10 minutes from Grantville, 15 minutes from Philip Island, 35 minutes from Cranbourne and 85 minutes from Melbourne's CBD.

There are many special events in Coronet Bay, particularly on long weekends.
